Become the virtual rockstar!

Believe it or not, this week sees the launch of yet another Guitar hero!

It's called Warriors of Rock and for the first time you'll be able to play songs form Alter Bridge and Arch Enemy to name a few!

Not all of you out there can play a real guitar, so get yourself a copy of Guitar Hero and be the virtual rockstar you always wanted to be!

For those of us who have real guiatrs and can shred it quite good, try Guitar Hero. You'll be amazed at how easy it is on expert level. It even serves as amazing finger warm up! Before a gig, I'll play through 6 or 7 songs before getting into the real finger warm ups on my PRS Tremonti, and believe me, this really works to get the blood flowing!

So, rock on!

Support me!

Some of you reading this must haver had some issues with a computer some stage or another in your life.

For some of you, the issue was resolved very quickly and very fast by throwing your laptop out the window or smacking your pc with the keyboard. As they say, if violence doesn't help, then you know you used too little, right?

If you're not a viking descendant, then you probably need some IT support. And you won't believe it, but there's actually people out there who get paid to help you with your pc! I wish I had a penny for all the times I had to fix my girlfriends' pc's...

So, before considering throwing the guy on the street with your mouse or printer, be sure to get some support before you do!

Hot, fresh and new!!

Good news!! (If you're a gamer, that is...)

This weekend sees the launch of the long awaited F1 2010! A game that will take you into the life of a Formula 1 race driver and see you play through the season with press conferences and team mate challenges!

F1 2010 will boast a brand new look into Formula 1 gaming, giving the gamer the experience of a driiver, instead of the car.

It also includes amazing graphics, new tracks and the night races in Singapore and Abu Dhabi. With stunning car realism for the hardcore racer and easy pick up and play for the arcade gamer.

So, now if you feel like you could have done a better job at putting Rubens Barrichello into the pit wall at Hungary, please do so! Or maybe even try not to shunt your Red Bull into a Mclaren or even your team mate once in a while. Could prove a hard enough challenge...(no offense, Seb)

So, be sure to pre-order your online purchase today! You won't wanna miss out on this...

In the lead!

Give me a reason

How did you wake up this morning?

Was it a pleasant morning with absolutely no hassles at all, was it a free-formed strool towards the shower and then some coffee with  breakfast? Good for you!!

It's really interesting how one little thing can change all that. One little thing you read on Facebook or one little email you get from the graphic design wizard in the office and your whole day is turned upside down.

So, what do we do? We find something to make us happy again! Why not try some online shopping or some Youtube videos to put the smile back on your face? Or maybe you wanted this. Maybe you were waiting for someone to give you a reason to get mad.

Maybe you wanted the fire in your soul to be ignited today, so that you have some motivation to do something you normally wouldn't do. So, please, go ahead and do it! As long as it doesn't involve breaking your keyboard on someone's nose or driving into the back of someone brand new Mercedes:)

Then, get over yourself and smile once more!

The artist within

This is one delicate subject to some people.

"Am I an artist?". I don't know, did your mom tell you that? She might have referred to your outfit when you sang Cats in the fourth grade, I don't know.

I don't agree with the statement that we all have "The artist within", you're born an artist. You can't learn to be one, if it is music, painting, graphic design, anything artistic.

I do agree that every one of us have something unique and special to offer the world in one way or another and that we all have our own calling. Your calling could be in the IT support field or even in modelling. That's a question only you can answer.

So, if you're trying to reinvent the wheel, why not buy it online instead? Lol, just kidding around;)

Little cyber bugs!

The cyber world is an amazing place, opening up the opportunities and making the world a very small place.

Things you can do on the internet, is quite scary these days. And jobs like web development are firing up all over the place!

But there's a darker side to the coin as well. When you're shopping online, it's always good to make sure of the security on the specific site, taking in consideration that some sites can hack into your banking details and leave you pennyless.

Also, we have the spammers, promoting their sick and wrong websites for the world to see. And let's not forget the little virus that pops up every now and then!

So, be safe, get yourself some security softwarte, be careful with your banking details online and make sure you question everything!

Give and take

Something we hear a lot, "Love is give and take", or "Life is give and take".

I do agree to both, but there are limits to both. There's only One person you can't outgive, and that would be our Creator. For the rest, too bad, so sad.

A good way to get someone's attention, is to give. Buying a corporate gift for that hot little secretary might do the trick. Then she'll feel like she needs to give something back, even if it's just an email saying "Thank you".

Then, for the take part, and this is where the girls are really good at. They either take everything a guy has to offer, or they force the guy to take all the things no one else will want to take, get what I'm saying?

Yes, life is give and take. Love is give and take. Relationships are give and take. Conversations are give and take. Even most of our daily activities can be classified as give and take. But thewre's a lesson behind all this...

A little word called balance.

Let's make sure of IT

If you watch a movie that involves aliens and world invasion, the general feeling that you get, is that people fear to be taken over or even be exterminated. Obviously...

But what we don't realize, is that we already have been invaded, taken over and enslaved by the monster we created. And it's name is Information Technology!

Luckily, if it wasn't for IT, most of us wouldn't have any jobs, seeing that a lot of companies do IT recruitment nowadays. Besides that, it opened up a world of opportunities, like graphic design, for instance. A market that went through the roof thanks to IT.

If you feel you're behind on all the latest pc software, some online shopping won't do you any harm:) So, be sure to update your arsenal and be on the main wave in the world of IT!

Put a smile on my face

Some of you might ask,"How can I make a person smile?". Well, there's a couple of ways to do that.

Jokes usually work nicely, or just having a good sense of humour. Even doing silly things can put a smile on someones face. But my personal favorite, gifts!

Gifts always work like a charm, especially if you know exactly what the person wants without telling them that you knew. Sneaky little one;)

Now, this doesn't involve any kind of stalking, girls. This means you have to get to know the person a little bit better than the rest of the world, which isn't that difficult. And no, to read his/her Facebook profile doesn't count as getting to know them better!!

Thank goodness the internet came along, now we can sit and do intense online shopping and browsing by simply moving a cursor across the screen. We can even ask for delivery, how cool is that?

If you're an online shopaholic(just thought that one out myself...), I suggest you get yourself a UPS to keep on going and not let anything stand in your way of putting smiles on other people's faces!

Remember, a smile is priceless:)

Outsourcing... Good or bad?

It's not easy running a business, there's a lot of choices and decisions to make, like getting the right people for the right job and filling your staff to handle all your clients.

Luckily, there's something called outsourcing in the world of business, where you get a company to take care of things you don't have the staff for or some other reason. Maybe you don't want to get a geek on board for your IT support? Outsourcing is the answer for you!

Some companies like to use their own guys for their IT needs, and then can't understand how it's possible that the internet bill is through the roof at the end of each month. But you can't approach him, because he's your girlfriend's brother and you don't want to stir things up. Again, outsourcing scores a point.

So, in my point of view, one hand washes the other when it comes to outsourcing. The one company provides UPS systems, the other one provides IT support, and your business is well off in the digital department. And should you be unhappy about something, you don't need to worry about what your future mother in law will think of you, but you can handle it professionally.

Designers anonymous

Most of you computer nerds out there do this, some of you artistic people too, graphic design.

It's fun sometimes to download a photo of your ex from facebook and giving him/her a huge nose or skew ears or something. And in our country we probably need a good UPS system to dodge the load sheding bug.

The software we use to do this kind of stuff just gets better and better by the day. And if you're online searching for a nice package to buy yourself for the next time someone needs a makeover, check out Photoshop Elements 8.

Everything gets digital these days. I won't be surprised if someone invents software that allows you to become part of your computer pretty soon, although I prefer not to take the red pill and call myself Neo after a while.

Have fun in the digital world!

Wishlist

I wish I had...

Strange, but true, we all have our own little wishlist. Most of the things on your wishlist you probably can't get or will take a lifetime to achieve, but still, it's good to dream, right?

Everytime someone asks me,"What do you want?" I simply replay by telling them,"Well, I'll start off with a nice Ferrari, followed by..." and then they usually interrupt me...

I think one of the 3 most popular wishlist items, are love, success and money. Most of the people choose one of these three and chase so hard after it, they lose track of what they really need.

It's only a few people who will realise what really matters in life and what not. Yes, we do have valuables in our lives, I'd kill someone if he/she tries to take one of my guitars away from me, but it's because my guitars form the biggest part of who I am. But why do people chase after rainbows when the pot of gold lies right in front of them? That's my question...

Most people wish for things they believe would make them better persons, but in the end, it was all a waste of good time. Like mr. Miagi said in Karate Kid,"A warrior takes advantage of what is at hand!".

Don't throw away your wishlist, use the things and people around you to make your wishes come true. And if it includes buying something you can afford, be sure to check out the online shopping sites!
