Communiicate!!

Telecoms, now there is an aspect where we jumped light years in a couple of moments!!

Believe it or not, but the cell phone hasn't been around for 20 years even, with the colour screens enhancing our lives since 2002. Crazy how they just get better and better everyday!!

But let's rewind the clock a bit...

How did we communicate before the age of sms and video calling? How did we survive without IM on our mobiles? Did we even have something as good and solid as direct communication?

Well, you had your telephones, but someone else could pick up their's and be a third ear. We still have that problem when you're sharing a land line with your mom;)

So, here's a hot tip, next time when you want to call your girlfriend, don't use the land line!! Go for something much more private, like your cell phone.

Another way of communication came to life when the internet sprung to life. We have Facebook, Twitter, Skype, the list goes on and on. Communication really became something we take for granted, we stay in touch with everyone right through the day, we share all our feelings and emotions every single second we're breathing. Doesn't this scare you?

To some, this may excite them:)

Copycats!

Yes, you might take the copiers for granted that you use everyday in the office, but what will happen if they disappear?

Before the copier, you had to write out everything for 20 or 30 times on a piece of paper, imagine the time that consumed?! Luckily, the copiers came along and made life easier for everybody, giving us more time by just a press of a button, and copying documents like it is nothing at all...

Technology is a wonderful thing. Not only does it save us time, but it makes our lives much easier! It gives us the opportunity to be as creative as we can be, the sky has no limit!! You can do anything and everything today!

So, next time you walk past the copier, stop and give it a nice little pat and say thank you. Haha

Print me a picture!

It's funny how times have changed, how technology took over the world and our whole lifestyle.

In the old days, you would ask someone to paint you a picture of a landscape or a portrait of someone you hold dear. Then along came the camera.

This was something amazing! And instant painting, you could almost say...

The press used this to their advantage, and so did most of the world, really. People started developing the photos and made money out of it, because everybody was taking photos!!

Then along came the digital camera. And photo developing went straight out of the window! But we needed something to replace the one hour photo developing shop on the corner, so along came the printers!

Making life a lot easier and allowing you to take photos wherever you are, then printing those you really like and putting them in albums to last for the rest of your life! And ety's not forget our dear friend, Facebook!
