But nothing compares to seeing a band live on a stage! As a musician, I prefer seeing a band live rather than listening to their albums, just because of the simple reason called "studio magic".
Don't get me wrong, it's amazing what you can accomplish in a studio nowadays, but the main thing to test someone's musicality and performance, is to see him/her live on a stage with thousands of screaming fans. Then the real colours begin to show...
Now, for our unlucky people here in South Africa, who only get one chance to see a band, they invented something called music DVD's. With top bands and artists releasing their best performance nights on these.
So, be sure to check out the latest releases and make your collection grow!
